Finally Brethren
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole
armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places."
(Ephesians 6:10-12).

The Evil Tree
"I the LORD thy God am a jealous
God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the
third and fourth generation of them that hate me."
(Exodus 20:5)
NOTE: The sins of one generation are passed
on to the next generation and spiritual strongholds are established.
"And now also the ax is
laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth
not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
(Matthew 3:10)
NOTE: Evil fruit just doesn't
appear. It come from evil seed that was planted and grew into
evil trees. In order to destroy the evil trees, on must first
discover where the roots are and then cut them.

The Spiritual Battle
"Then said he unto me, Fear not,
Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to
understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were
heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the
kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael,
one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with
the kings of Persia." (Daniel 10:12-13).
"The said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto
thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of
Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall
come." (Daniel 10:20).
NOTE: An Angel's viewpoint.
NOTE: The battle continues.
In The Heavens
NOTE: What we see on earth is indicative of what is
happening in the heavens.
"The kings came and fought,
then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megido;
they took no gain of money. They fought from heaven; the
stars in their courses fought against Sisera."
(Judges 5:19-20).
NOTE: Man ws to participate in this battle
with the LORD.
"Curse ye Meroz, said the
angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof, because
thy came not to help the LORD, to the help of the
LORD against the mighty." (Judges 5:23).
NOTE: The question rings through time:
"Shall your
brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?"
The Word of Prayer
"And when the servant of the man of
God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host
compassed the city both with horses and chariots.
And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! How shall we
do? And he answered, Fear not: for they
that be with us are more than they that be with them.
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes that he
may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man: and
he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and
chariots of fire round about. And when thy came
down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said,
Smite this people, I pray thee, with
blindness. And he smote them with blindness according
to the word of Elisha." (II Kings 6:15:-18).
*** We also need to see that God has an army of angels waiting
to go into battle according to our word of prayer.
