Salvation Prayer:
DEAR GOD:
https://www.wholeperson-counseling.org/ndoc2/salvation.html
1. All have sinned. Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." 2. The penalty for sin is death. Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Genesis 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.") Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." 3. Jesus paid the penalty for our sin. Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." 4. We must accept Jesus (make a faith commitment) as our Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." |
Have you ever at any time in your life given your life
to Jesus allowing Him to become your Lord & Saviour?
5. Jesus gives us eternal life. John 10:28-29 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." 6. We need to distinguish between the soul and spirit. Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." 7. We need to understand that the new man (creation) is not capable of being corrupted. I Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." 8. Jesus not only wants to live inside of us, He wants to live as Lord where we live (the soul). (Note: distinction between relationship and fellowship). Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." 9. Jesus not only wants to live inside of us and to live where we live, He wants for us to be a channel for His life to flow through us that others might receive his life. John 7:37-38 "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly (inner most being) shall flow rivers of living water." |

Emotional Wounds
Emotional wounds occur when hurtful words, actions, or attitudes are expressed toward us and we receive them.
There are several basic kinds of emotional wounds. One is like the cutting of a knife, like when someone expresses a sharp word toward us. One is like a tearing, like in the loss of a friend. One is like a bruise when there is a blow to our identity.
Emotional wounds example: "The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly" Proverbs 26:22.

DISCOVERY PRAYER - AND - PRAYER FOR HEALING
"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my disquieting thoughts. And see if there be any way of pain in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." (Literal translation) (Psalm 139:23-24).
NOTE [2] God doesn't want to waste any of our experiences of hurts, freedom and healing, but wants us to share them with others as directed of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:28-29, II Corinthians 2:15).
APPLICATION: Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your memory each and every hurt that you have received during your life that you that you may, by God's grace, walk through these steps and receive healing for every one of them. (Romans 8:16).
WARNING! Don't do the digging yourself, but allow the Holy Spirit do His work. Invite the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to walk through the memory with you. Then allow the Holy Spirit guide you to freedom and healing.
SOME CRITICAL STEPS TO TAKE:
1. Admit that the pain is real and allow yourself to feel the pain.2. Purpose before God and by His grace to forgive the offender. (Matthew 6:12, 14-15, 18:21-35).
3. Place the offender's judgment in God's hands and ask God to also forgive them. (Luke 23:34, Acts 7:60).Others. God. Self 4. Ask the Lord to forgive you of any unforgiveness, bitterness, hate, revenge, or jealousy that you have.

b. If you feel that anger, fear, or extreme discomfort something else is still there, then:
(A wound needs to be cleansed of infection also).
6. Take authority over any evil spirits, bind them and command them to leave in the Name of Jesus.
7. Ask God to heal you of the hurts through the suffering of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 53:4, Psalm 147:3) (Pray until you are healed).Bind the spirit in the name of Jesus. (Matthew 12:29, 16:19). Command it to leave in the name of Jesus. (Mark 16:17). Then ask the Holy Spirit if you are free from the spirit. If you are not free, then that spirit is attached to another. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the other spirit. Also cast all of them out in the name of Jesus. 8. Ask the Father to take away any hardness of heart and give you a new heart that is tender and sensitive to the feelings of others. (Ezekiel 36:25-27).
9. Ask God to fill your heart with his love and the power of the Holy Spirit so that you can view the memory through God's love and from His perspective of truth. (Ephesians 3:17-19). We have a tendency to color our memories).

The Grace of Emotional Healing of Psalms 23
"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth
my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear
no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou
preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest
my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the
LORD for ever" (Psalms 23:1-6).
"THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD"
BIPOLAR DISORDERS
Being performance or works minded is a major factor contributing to most bipolar disorders Often the individual comes from an overly strict or legalistic religious background. The individual usually has various personal identity issues and feels that the must earn love and acceptance from God, others, and self. When he sees himself as temporarily being successful, he may seem O.K. However, when he sees himself as a failure, then anger and depression usually follow. Then he may try to perform his way out and become manic. Of course, the manic stage is a set up for disaster. There is often a neglect of family and other responsibilities. There is pressure to remain the superstar. There also is much wear on the mental and physical aspects of the individual's life. The steam can only last so long before there is failure again. The cycle then continues to the depressive side. Two major factors in overcoming this disorder is coming to understand who you are in Christ by the grace of God and learning to live by the grace of God.
MPD & DID
Sometimes children and youth are severely traumatized with blows to their identity to such a degree that there is a fragmentation of their personality. For example, this may occur in a case where the child witnesses the dramatic death of a family member or someone close. It may also occur in cases where the individual is raped. Various degrees of disassociation often occur. The individual may go somewhere, but not remember where he went or what he did. He may also break down in tears, but not remember of why he is crying. He may recall an image of a traumatic experience, but have no emotional feelings attached to that event. In some cases, traumatic events in later adulthood may trigger unresolved childhood trauma issues. The adult may crawl into a fetal position and become as a fearful little child.
In more severe cases, the individual may exhibit multiple personalities because of the fragmentation and be diagnosed as having MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) or DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). The Dissociative Identity Disorder is the more modern term used today. One may find this coming out of cases of incest, strict legalistic cults, and Satanistic Ritual Abuse. Basically, the person can't handle what has happened to him (his identity), he goes into a mode of escapism, and consciously or unconsciously takes on a new identity. Usually the people who do this are imaginative, creative, and resourceful. Although David would not be considered as having DID, he temporarily and consciously changed his personality to avoid detection. "And he changed his behaviour before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scrabbled on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard" (I Samuel 21:13). When one does have DID, these "new" personalities are lasting and are called "alters" because of the altered personality. God is still the healer no matter the severity of the case. He can put all the piece of the personality back together into a whole person.

Grace To Overcome Generational Curses
https://www.wholeperson-counseling.org/evil-t/evil-t.html
This outline is meant to be a supplement to the book, "How To Destroy The Evil Tree". The book gives a foundation for the following personal work. Please read the book to reinforce the work that you do in this seminar. You may print a copy from the above link or purchase the book from WPC.
I. A Brief Definition:
The primary Old Testament Hebrew word translated "iniquity" literally means "perversion", while the primary New Testament Greek word translated "iniquity" means "lawlessness". In simple thought, iniquity is a bent toward sin or negative life trait which is passed down from one generation to the next generation. It is more than just modeled behavior, it is inherited. It may encompass every area of our lives, psychological, behavioral, physical, social, and financial. An evil tree with evil fruit provides an illustration for communication.II. Prayer of Discovery:
"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my disquieting (anxious) thoughts: And see if there be any way of pain in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" (Psalm 139:23-24 a literal translation). Please begin praying this prayer: Dear God, I pray that you show me the generational curses in my life and their roots and set me free from these curses.

III. Instructions for evil fruit list.
A. Circle any item on the evil fruit list that applies to you.
B. Write "F" for father or "M" for mother by any that applies to your parents.
C. Write "GF/F or GM/F" (grandfather or grandmother on your father's side) or "GF/M or GM/M" (grandfather or grandmother on your mother's side) by any that applies to your grandparents.
IV. Instructions for the "Evil Tree Drawing" on next page.
A. Circle on the drawing any fruit category from the "Evil Fruit" where there are three are more failures.
B. List any major or significant categories by the roots that apply to your parents or grandparents.V. The Word (Scripture).
(Lamentations 5:7) "Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities."
(Exodus 20:5b) "... visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."
(Deuteronomy 27-28) "Gives a list of a number of curses that one may experience because of disobeying the laws of God." (sins, failures, poverty, indebtedness, diseases, family breakups, etc.)
(Deuteronomy 28:15) "But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:"
(Galatians 3:10-14) "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."VI. The Scriptural basis for prayer.
"Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them. And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers. And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God" (Nehemiah 9:1-3).Prayer to apply:
A. Concerning forefathers (parents & grandparents). (Nehemiah 9:1-3).
1. I now confess the sins of my forefathers as I have indicated (take time to do this in your mind).
2. By Your grace, I purpose to forgive them of any bent toward sin (iniquity) or curse that has been passed along to me.
3. I also place the judgment of my now living forefathers in Your hand and ask that You also forgive them. (John 20:23).B. Concerning my own failures.1. I acknowledge and confess those failures that I have circled as sin. I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing according to I John 1:9.
2. I purpose by Your grace to turn from these and do them no more.
3. In the name of Jesus, I bind (Matthew 12:29, 18:18) any spirits associated with these areas and command that they leave my mind, will, emotions, my body, this room, and this area and do not come back again.
4. I declare that Jesus has given me right standing before God, the Father, and that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; therefore, I am doing some house cleaning and will not leave room for the enemy to return. (It is good to reinforce this with Scripture as Matthew 4:4, 6, 10)
VII. Declaration of Faith. (based upon Galatians 3:10-14 and Romans 6).5. Holy Spirit, You are a witness with my spirit; therefore, I am asking You, "Am I now free?" (Listen for the answer). If the answer is "No.", then ask the Holy Spirit where the bondage lies. Confess any additional sins and ask for forgiveness and cleansing and command that the enemy leaves based upon the Word of God. (Mark 16:17).
Now, in the name of Jesus and based upon the fact that he hung on the cross and became a curse for me (in my place). I declare that the roots to this evil tree are cut and that the tree is dead and that the fruit must dry up and pass away.VIII. New Tree Declarations. (John 15:1ff)
A. I also declare that I have a new tree in Christ that is rooted in the Word of God.
B. I declare that by the grace of God that I will produce much lasting fruit as I depend upon the mercy and grace of God (Philippians 2:13, Galatians 3:20). Amen.IX. Instructions concerning "word curses".
A. I acknowledge all word curses which have been spoken over me (negative communication by words, expressions, or actions by those in authority or those whom I have considered to be in authority, including my own words or thoughts). ( Isaiah 45:17).
Sample Word Curses
You were an accident
|
B. I denounce each of these as lies from the enemy.
C. I replace each word curse with the truth of God's Word. (See examples below:)
The curse: "You can't do anything right." The answer: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 2:13). Therefore, I declare that I can do anything that is in the will of God.
The curse: "You are beyond help."
The answer: "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). Therefore, I declare that I can receive all the help from God that I need.
The curse: "You are stupid."
The answer: "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus" (II Timothy 3:15). Therefore, I declare that I am not stupid, but wise because I have received salvation through faith in Jesus.
The curse: "You are ugly." or "You should have been a boy/girl."
The answer: "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalms 139:14). Therefore, I declare that I was created as God would have me be.
X. Study Romans Chapter Six for summary. The curse: "You never listen" or "You will never learn anything."
The answer: "The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned" (Isaiah 50:4). Therefore, I declare that I will listen and can hear the voice of God who will give me the learning which I need.
*** Although "the evil tree" is a vehicle of communication, Romans chapter six is the doctrinal explanation.
Romans Six Translation.
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized (a spiritual baptism) (unto) into Jesus Christ were baptized (unto) into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism (unto) into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been (grafted together) planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Rom 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6 Declarations(This is not a translation, but declarations based upon a literal translation of the passage).
*** Please make the following audible declaration:
1. What shall I say then? Shall I continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2. God forbid! How can I, who am dead to sin, live in sin any longer.
3. I know that through spiritual baptism I was joined unto Jesus and unto his death.
4. Therefore, I am buried with him by baptism unto death: that just like Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so I shall walk in newness of life.
5. As I have been grafted together with Jesus in the likeness of his death, I shall be grafted together with him in the likeness of his resurrection.
6. I know this, that my old man (my evil tree) is crucified with him, that the body of sin (the fruit on the tree) might be destroyed, that from this time forward, I should not be a slave to sin.
7. Because I (the old man) am dead, I am free from sin.
8. Now, since I am dead with Christ, I believe that I shall also live (now and forever) with him.
9. I know that Christ is raised from the dead and will not die again. Therefore, death has no power or authority over him.
10. In that Jesus died, he died only one time unto sin: but in that he lives, he lives continually and forever unto God.
11. Likewise, when all is said and done, I consider and conclude that I am truly dead to sin, but also alive unto God through Jesus Christ my Lord.
12. Based upon this truth, I will not let sin reign in my mortal body, that I should obey it in the lusts of it.
13. Neither will I yield the members of my body as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin. However, I will yield myself unto God, as one who is alive from the dead, and my members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14. For sin shall no longer have any power or authority to rule over me, because I am not under the law (of sin and death) but under grace.
15. What now? Shall I sin, because I am not under the law, but under grace? God forbid!
16. I know that to whom I yield myself a slave to obey, his slave I am to whom I obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto God.
17. I thank God, that though I was (past tense) a slave of sin, I have now obeyed from my heart that form of doctrine which was delivered unto me.
18. Being then made alive from sin, I became a servant of righteousness.
19. Recognizing the weakness in my flesh, as I have in the past yielded my members as slaves to uncleanness and to iniquity (perversion or a bent toward sin) which led to more iniquity, even so I now (today) yield my members as servants unto holiness.
20. For when I was a slave to sin, I was free from righteousness (that is could not obtain righteousness).
21. I am now ashamed of the evil fruit that I once produced for the result of all of those things is death.
22. But NOW, being made free from sin, and NOW having become a servant of God, I have my fruit unto holiness and resulting in everlasting life.
23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN!XI. Free from Generational Curses That We May Receive God's Blessings.
1. (Exodus 20:6) "And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments."
2. (Exodus 34:6-7) "And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."
3. (Galatians 3:13-14) "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
4. (Genesis 12:1-3) "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
5. (Galatians 3:16-18) "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise."
6. (Galatians 3:22) "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe."
7. (Galatians 3:28-29) "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. ) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
AN OVERVIEW OF GRACE:
In a general sense, grace is "finding favor" (good will, kindness) in the eyes of another. (Ruth 2:13). The Hebrew word "chen" which is translated "favor" is also the word for grace. Grace can be found within "a relationship" with God or man. (Genesis 6:8), (Genesis 34:11). The beholder is the one who offers grace. (Ruth 2:10-11). However, it is generally considered unmerited. (Romans 11:5-6). Grace can also be seen as a gift which is given which usually comes out of fellowship. (James 1:17). Grace is also the God-given ability both to be a child of God and also the God-given ability to live as a child of God. (I Corinthians 15:10, Philippians 2:13).
"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" (John 1:17).
Fulness
of GRACE |
|
"And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified" (Acts 20:32).
GRACE = God's Riches At Christ's Expense.
1. John 10:10 speaks of abundant life.
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). The word translated "abundant" literally means above measure. We can measure to the brim of a glass, but when it is overflowing in every direction, it is more difficult to measure. Also see: (John 1:17).
2. Ephesians 1:3 speaks of all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3). It is difficult to comprehend the idea of ALL spiritual blessings. However, Paul expressed it this way, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32).
3. II Corinthians 9:15 speaks of an unspeakable gift. (beyond full explanation).
"And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift" (II Corinthians 9:14-15). The gift of grace exceeds all other gifts. In fact, it is beyond our ability to put into words. We can only use some analogies to communicate some facets of it.
4. Ephesians 3:8 speaks of unsearchable riches of Christ.
"Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ" (Ephesians 3:8). We can't discover all of riches in we have in Christ. The more that we find the more the more we find that there are to find.
5. Ephesians 3:20 speaks of being able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" (Ephesians 3:20). Here Paul uses the same Greek root word "over" or "above" twice for the sake of emphasis. God can do in us and through us way, way above all that we can ask or even thing of ask about. Jesus put it this way, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John 14:12).
6. Hebrews 6:9 speaks of things that accompany salvation.
"But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak" (Hebrews 6:9). I grew up thinking that once you got your ticket to heaven, that was about it. However, over the years I am discovering there are many other things that accompany our salvation to heaven.
7. Ephesians 1:19 speaks of the exceeding greatness of His power to us.
"And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power" (Ephesians 1:19). Just how great is this power that is in Believers? The next two verses give us a picture of it. "Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come" (Ephesians 1:20-21).
8. Isaiah 12:3 speaks of wells of salvation.
"Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation" (Isaiah 12:3). Notice there is more than one well. Each well has it's own reservoir that never runs dry. Also See:https://www.wholeperson-counseling.org/encouragement/wells-joy.html

"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me" (John 15:26).
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you" (John 16:13-15).
"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (I Corinthians 2:9-10).
