The above audio prophecy was given to me
by Mr.
Ron Campbell of Sound
the Trumpet
Ministries at Freedom Fellowship Church of San Angelo,
Texas.
I don't follow a lot of men and women who declare that they are
prophets.
In fact, I think that many are egotisic false prophets who like to be
in
the spot light of authority and control others through fear.
However,
I have observed Mr. Campbell speak on several occasions and believe
that
he is a true prophet with a heart to exhort Believers. I have
observed
him speaking words of knowledge over various individuals who I had
personally
counseled. He has been on target in each case although in the
natural
he did not personally know the individuals. Mr. Cambell is
also a
humble prophet who submits himself under the authority of others.
I would suggest that you listen
to the audio, but
would like also to give a word of explanation. I would agree
with
Mr. Campbell that I am NOT a prophet in the exact same sense that he
is.
Furthermore, in fact, it is somewhat difficult for me to see myself as
a prophet in the modern traditional sense. However, when I
look at
the original scriptural term that was used for prophets, I can see
myself
in that light. "(Beforetime
in Israel, when
a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the
seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)"
(I Samuel 9:9). The term "seer" is used some twenty plus
times in
Scripture to designate one who "sees" beyond the natural realm. A true
prophet, when he depends upon the Lord for what he sees, "sees" what
the
natural person does not see . In that sense, God often gives
me the
ability "to see" spiritually what other people may not see.
This
often occurs with me when I study the Word, when I counsel, and
sometimes
when I look at national events. This does not mean that I
live a
perfect life or that I am better than everyone else. It
simply means
that God gives the ability "to see" as I inquire and depend upon
Him.
This gifting is of great value in ministering to others for it gives a
basis along with the Word for speaking the truth in love and giving
encouragement.
