End Time Events
Some events to watch for:
1. "Now the Spirit speaketh expressively,
that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy;
having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and
commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received
with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth" (I
Timothy 4:1-3).
2. "And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name,
saying I am the Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear
of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye not be troubled: for all these
must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise
against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. And all these
are the beginning of sorrows" (Matthew 24:4-8) Note: Matthew
24:1ff speaks to the "second coming" of Jesus at the close of the seven
year of tribulation. However, since the "rapture" of the Church occurs
only seven years earlier, the Church may see some of these events occurring,
specifically verses 4-8. The verses 9-14 may be reserved for the
tribulation period.
3. "Then shall they deliver you to be afflicted,
and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's
sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and
shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of
many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure to the end, the same
shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached
in all the world for a witness unto all nations; then shall the end come"
(Matthew 24:9-14) This seems to occur at the beginning of the
tribulation period (the first 3 1/2 years).
4. "When ye therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the
holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) . . . For then shall
be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world
to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should
be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake
those days shall be shortened" (Matthew 24:15, 21-22).
The antichrist will enter the temple at the middle of the seven years and
declare himself to be God and demand worship. The last 3 1/2 years will
be the great tribulation on the earth.
5. "Immediately after the tribulation
of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heaven
shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the
Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they
shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven
to the other" (Matthew 24:29-31).

goes into the temple and declares himself to be God and demands worship.
= II Thessalonians 2:4, Revelation 13:15, Matthew 24:15.
j. The last half of the tribulation period is called the "great
tribulation" = Matthew 24:21.
k. Mark of the beast = Revelation 13:15-18, 14:9, 16:1-2.
l. Beheading of "tribulation" believers = Revelation 6:11, 20:4.

Revelation 20:1-3.
6. The Great White Throne Judgment = Revelation 20:10-15.
7. The New Heaven, New Earth, New Jerusalem = Revelation 21:1-22:21.
Please understand that I consider myself an exhorter and teacher,
not a prophet.
"But, Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that
one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day" (II Peter 3:8).
My personal belief is that Jesus will probably not
return to get His Bride around the beginning of the 21 Century though we
should always be ready. Why? Because Daniel, the prophet, marked
time with the death of the Messiah (about 28 A.D.) (Daniel 9:26)( Also
see Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 53:8, 12, Romans 7:1-4, Hebrews 9:16-17 for the
death of Christ being the division of the Old Covenant and the New Covenant).
Furthermore, the Word instructs us to commemorate the death of Jesus (I
Corinthians 11:23-26), not his birth. Therefore, my belief is that the
rapture of the Church will occur somewhere around 2021 A.D. There
will follow seven years of tribulation. Then the "second coming"
of Jesus will occur about 2028 A.D. (2,000 years after his death).
The "second coming" of the Lord would complete 6,000 years or six prophetic
days. This would leave one prophetic day or 1,000 years of time left after
the second coming.
