The Bones Cry Out
1. BAD NEWS = Brings rottenness to the bones.
"When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops" (Habakkuk 3:16).2. SHAME = Brings rottenness to the bones.
"A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones" (Proverbs 12:4).3. REPROACH = Is like a sword in the bones.
"As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God?" (Psalm 42:10).4. CURSING = Is like (hot) oil in the bones.
"As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones" (Psalm 109:18).5. UNCONFESSED SIN = Causes the bones to wax old.
"When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long" (Psalm 32:3).6. SIN = Causes unrest to the bones.
"There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin" (Psalm 38:3).7. ENVY = Brings rottenness to the bones.
"A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness to the bones" (Proverbs 14:30).
8. A BROKEN SPIRIT = Dries the bones.
"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones" (Proverbs 17:22).9. TROUBLE IN LIFE = Causes a burning in the bones.
"For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth" (Psalm 102:3).10. FEAR = Causes the shaking of the bones."My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat" (Job 30:30).
"Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake" (Job 4:14).11. SIN = Fills the bones.
"His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust" (Job 20:11).12. GOD'S CHASTENING = Produces strong pain in the bones.
"Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed" (Psalm 6:2).13. AFFLICTION OF THE SOUL = Brings a piercing of the bones."He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:" (Job 33:19).
"And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me" (Job 30:16).14. INIQUITY = Will have an effect upon the bones."My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest" (Job 30:17).
"And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living" (Ezekiel 32:27).15. GRIEF AND INIQUITY = Cause to bones to be consumed.
"For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed" (Psalm 31:10).16. SIN'S CURSE = The bones are out of joint.
"I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels" (Psalm 22:14).

"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones" (Proverbs 3:7-8).2. A GOOD REPORT = Makes the bones fat.
"The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat" (Proverbs 15:30).3. PLEASANT WORDS = Brings health to the bones.
"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones" (Proverbs 16:24).3. HEALTH = Comes from moist bones.
"His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow" (Job 21:24).4. DELIVERANCE = Rejoices the bones.
"All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?" (Psalm 35:10).5. A CLEAR CONSCIENCE = Rejoices the bones.
"Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice" (Psalm 51:6-8).6. OUR GOD = Protects our bones.
"He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken" (Psalm 34:20).7. GIVING TO THE NEEDY = Makes our bones fat and moist.
"And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not" (Isaiah 58:10-11).8. PEACE AND COMFORT = Causes our bones to flourish.
"And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies" (Isaiah 66:14).
