Emotional Healing Scriptures
Quite often, as we read, memorize, meditate on and obey the Word of
God, it gives us faith to receive God's grace for receiving emotional
healing.
1. [ ] "But the God of all grace,
who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that
ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen,
settle you" (I Peter 5:10).
2, [ ] "He healeth the broken in
heart, and bindeth up their wounds" (Psalms 147:3)
3. [ ] "Peace I leave with you, my
peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid"
(John 14:27).
4. [ ] "Come unto me, all ye that
labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon
you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"
(Matthew 11:28-30).

leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake"

of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all"

he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet,

good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones"

vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long? Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh

substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"

help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my

21. [ ] "Reproach hath broken my
heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity,
but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none"
(Psalms 69:20).

distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of
all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his
daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God"
(I Samuel 30:6).
23. [ ] "The blessing of the LORD,
it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it" (Proverbs
10:22).
24. [ ] "Then Jacob was greatly
afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and
the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands"
(Genesis 32:7).
25. [ ] "Turn thee unto me, and
have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my
heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon
mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins"

sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?"

bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. He shall

thee" (Job 5:18-19)'
28. [ ] "For thus saith the high
and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in
the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble
spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of
the contrite ones" (Isaiah 57:15).
29. [ ] "The Spirit of the Lord
GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good
tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them
that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and
the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn"
(Isaiah 61:1-2).
30. [ ] "Behold, I will bring it
health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the
abundance of peace and truth" (Jeremiah 33:6).
31. [ ] "Come, and let us return
unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten,
and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the
third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight"
(Hosea 6:1-2).

name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;
and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall"

upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he
may devour" (I Peter 5:7-8).
50. [ ] "The LORD also will be a
refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that
know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not
forsaken them that seek thee" (Psalms 9:9-10).
51. [ ] "And we know that all
things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are
the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).
52. [ ] "Why art thou cast down, O
my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I
shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God"
(Psalms 42:11).
53. [ ] "He is despised and
rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we
hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him
not. Surely he hath
borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him
stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our
transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of
our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed"
