THE MISSING LINK

The Missing Link:
-
God in His foreknowledge knew that man coun not bridge the gap; therefore,
God, Himself, had to build the bridge. God sent His only begotton Son,
Jesus,
into the world to be born of the virgin Mary. He live a life of perfect
obedience to the Father as Son of God and son of man.
Jesus was falsely accused by the religious leaders of day that could
not accept his deity. He was sentenced to be executed for crimes that he
did not commit. However, in his death on a cruel Roman cross, he became
a substitute for all our unrighteousness (sin). Jesus died, suffering the
wrath of God and the penalty of "Hell" and was resurrected from the dead
on the third day. His cross has become a symbol of the bridge (the missing
link) between sinful man and God.

Please pray the following prayer: Dear God
-
-
I understand that you are a perfectly righteous God and that you
demand perfection.
-
I confess to you that I have not and can not live up to your standards
(in actions, words, attitudes, and thoughts).
-
I am convicted that the consequence for my wrong (sin) is spiritual
death that leads to the second death (the lake of fire).
-
However, I believe that Jesus, your Son, was perfect, but died for
my imperfection on the cross and was raised from the dead on the third
day.
-
Therefore, by faith, I commit my life to Jesus, allowing Him to
become my Lord and Salvation and thus becoming "the missing link" for me.
Amen.
