| I took the above photo of
the mockingbird just after
it had attacked and chased our cat into the garage. If you
look close
he has his feathers ruffled up on the back of his neck. Just
for
the record, my cat was just minding his own business when the bird
attacked.
A mockingbird is very territorial and one of the most aggressive birds
around. A mockingbird will dive down and attack a large dog.
I have
even had one to attack me as I walked under a tree where it was
sitting.
The mockingbird may be a good picture for anger. |
